Born in Lethbridge Alberta (1947) Canada. Raised in a family of music and art his interest in Art came at an early age. In grade school he was awarded classes at the College of Art in Calgary.
He later enrolled and took his training in commercial and fine art at the Alberta College of Art after a decade he enrolled at the University of Calgary to study Printmaking and Painting.
His formal training was in the private and public sector as a graphic designer and illustrator.
He taught architectural rendering, perspective, painting and drawing classes through the school system, the University of Calgary and also privately. During his career he marketed his paintings through Canada House in Banff, Alberta, Highstreet Gallery in Calgary and private venues. His work is now sold through Webster Galleries in Calgary. His work is in private collections around the world. He is a member of a new group which has been established through Webster Galleries called the NEW 7. As a group they will strive to maintain the freshness of there approach to painting on location across Canada. He now lives with his wife Francine in the Alberni Valley on Vancouver Island. Always painting on location (en plein air) he strives to share his passion through his interpretations of this magnificent country. He continues to explore the unique properties of Oil, Acrylic and Watercolor. |
